Ingredients for Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts
- Brussels Sprouts: The star of the dish, Brussels sprouts provide a hearty and cruciferous base. When cooked, they develop a crispy exterior and a tender, flavorful interior.
- Minced Garlic: Garlic adds a savory and aromatic depth to the dish. It complements the natural flavors of Brussels sprouts and enhances the overall taste of the glaze.
- Sea Salt: Sea salt is a crucial seasoning that enhances the natural flavors of the Brussels sprouts. It helps balance the sweetness of the balsamic vinegar and adds a savory element.
- Onion Powder: Onion powder contributes a mild and sweet onion flavor to the glaze without the texture of fresh onions. It adds complexity to the dish and complements the other spices.
- Red Pepper Flakes: Red pepper flakes provide a subtle heat and a touch of spiciness to the glaze. This ingredient adds a bit of excitement to the dish, balancing the sweetness and enhancing the overall flavor profile.
- Balsamic Vinegar: The key ingredient for the glaze, balsamic vinegar adds a rich, tangy, and slightly sweet flavor. It caramelizes during cooking, creating a glossy and flavorful coating on the Brussels sprouts.
Understanding the role of each ingredient allows you to appreciate how they work together to create a well-balanced and delicious Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts dish. Adjusting the quantities of these ingredients can help you tailor the recipe to your taste preferences.

Why Use an Air Fryer?
Air frying offers a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods, using minimal oil to achieve a crispy texture. It’s quicker than oven baking and retains the vibrant flavors and nutrients of your ingredients.
Recipe Tips and Tricks
- Ensure Brussels sprouts are evenly coated for a uniform glaze.
- Shake the air fryer basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste preferences.
Storage and Reheating
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain that delightful crispiness. They should last for up to 3 days.
