  • Black pepper

Benefits of Ingredients in Mango Pineapple Smoothie

  1. Frozen Mango: Mangoes are rich in vitamins A and C, contributing to immune health and skin vitality. They contain antioxidants like beta-carotene, which can help protect cells from damage.
  2. Frozen Pineapple: Pineapples are an excellent source of vitamin C, supporting immune function and skin health. Pineapples contain bromelain, an enzyme that aids in digestion and may reduce inflammation.
  3. Ground Ginger: Ginger has potent anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce inflammation in the body. It can alleviate nausea and support overall digestive health.
  4. Ground Turmeric: Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory compound with potential health benefits. It has antioxidant properties that can neutralize free radicals in the body.
  5. Protein Powder: Muscle Support: Protein powder provides essential amino acids necessary for muscle repair and growth.
  6. Non-dairy Yogurt: Non-dairy yogurt may contain beneficial probiotics that support gut health.
  7. Non-dairy Milk: Fortified non-dairy milk can provide essential nutrients like calcium and vitamin D. Using non-dairy milk allows those with lactose intolerance or dietary preferences to enjoy the smoothie. My favorites are almond, cashew, oat, and soy.
  8. Black Pepper: Black pepper contains piperine, which can enhance the absorption of curcumin from turmeric.

By combining these ingredients, you create a smoothie that not only tastes delicious but also offers a variety of nutrients, antioxidants, and potential health benefits. It’s a flavorful and nutritious way to kickstart your day or enjoy a refreshing treat.

Where to Buy Frozen Fruit?

For budget-friendly and high-quality frozen fruit options, check out Aldi, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Kroger, or Whole Foods. Personally, I prefer Aldi for its affordability and commitment to providing fruit without added sugars or preservatives.
