Ingredients
15medjool dates
1/3cupnon-dairy milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tspvanilla extract
Instructions
If your dates still have pits (seeds), remove the pits from the dates. Simply make a small incision along one side and pop out the pit.
Place the pitted dates in a bowl and cover them with warm water. Let them soak for about 30 minutes to soften.
Transfer the soaked dates to a blender or food processor. Blend until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency. You may need to scrape down the sides to ensure even blending.
Assess the consistency of your date paste. Add more milk if needed to achieve your desired thickness.
Transfer the date paste to a jar or airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Use it as a natural sweetener in various recipes.
Notes
I used cashew milk due to its creamy consistency, but feel free to use oat or almond milk.
